Profile

Anime Crisis was both an old-school VHS fansubbing operation and a translation source for other fan projects. Its 1997 Translations page lists Dragon Ball manga books 25, 29, 30, 31, 32, 34, 35, 38, 39, 40 and 41 plus Dragon Ball Z movie translations 1–7 and 9–13. Its separate Subtitled Projects page lists Dragon Ball movies 1–4, DBZ movies 1–13, the Bardock and Trunks specials, and DBZ TV blocks 200–247, while 118–199 and 248–291 appear under future projects. The site explicitly sought S-VHS master trades with other fansubbers. Joseph Teed's DBZ manga page separately credits Anime Crisis as a translation source, showing that the group's English scripts could circulate independently of its own finished tapes.

Signature style

Own 1997 site separates Translations from Subtitled Projects and explicitly asks to trade S-VHS MASTERS with other fansubbers. The bracketed release_tag here is a database label, not a claimed period filename tag.

It separately lists DBZ 118–199 and 248–291 as future projects, so those planned ranges are deliberately excluded from the episode count. The same page also lists DBZ movies 1–13 plus the Bardock and Trunks specials.
