Hawks (Band of the Hawk)

The group commonly known as The Hawks / Band of the Hawks is directly proven by its own archived thehawks.org downloads page. A 2002-07-07 capture, before Dark Horse's 2003 license, distributes Berserk scanlation material across numerous volumes and directs readers to #hawks on Wondernet for newer releases. Later historical reconstruction documents Berserk as an exception to the group's usual no-licensed-titles policy after the Dark Horse license. The chronology therefore needs two parts: direct pre-license P1 activity in 2002, then a later documented post-license exception.
