A major scanlation aggregator that hosted seven Shueisha-owned Weekly Shonen Jump titles including Bleach, Naruto, One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Katekyo Hitman Reborn, Claymore, and D.Gray-man well past the point Viz Media held every one of those licenses. Legal pressure from Shueisha and Viz forced the site to pull all seven titles in a February 2012 announcement, after which it redirected effort toward titles Viz did not license at all. Shueisha came back for the rest of the site in 2019, filing a DMCA subpoena that led to MangaStream going dark for good that December.
Signature style
Large-scale multi-title aggregator hosting most major Weekly Shonen Jump series simultaneously rather than specializing, continued distribution regardless of Viz licensing status until legal action forced a stop, twice.
