Kyoko is the necessary, oblivious civilian buffer in a show filled with child soldiers and international terrorists. While she initially just thinks Sosuke is a hilarious military otaku, her unfailing loyalty to Kaname through hostage situations, school trip hijackings, and general explosive chaos makes her the unsung MVP of the Jindai High School cast.
