HIRUZEN SARUTOBI SPOILER!

The Third Hokage returns during the Fourth Shinobi World War alongside the other former Hokage, bringing one of Konoha's oldest generations back onto the battlefield. Hiruzen is remembered as a shinobi with unusually broad command of the village's techniques, but his return matters just as much for the history standing around him: Hashirama, Tobirama and Minato represent decisions that shaped the Leaf long before Naruto's generation inherited their consequences. His presence completes the line of Hokage forced to confront what their village became after them.
