NENE ROMANOVA
NR
Works the AD Police data systems by day. Wears a hardsuit at night. The gap between those two facts is a security problem she manages with more competence than anyone in the AD Police would find comfortable if they knew. Youngest of the Knight Sabers, cheerful in a way that reads as lightweight until you watch what she can actually do inside a computer system. The team's intelligence infrastructure runs through Nene entirely. Without her the other three are fighting blind.

Dr. Miriam Yoshida uses specialized Boomers and the AD Police computer system to turn headquarters itself into a trap. Nene and Lisa are caught inside while the rest of the Knight Sabers have to break into a building designed to kill them.
The Breakdown
The final OVA does not escalate by bringing Largo back or putting the city under an orbital superweapon. It turns Nene's ordinary workplace into the battlefield and makes her double life the vulnerability. The team wins by combining exactly the things the series has spent eight episodes building: hardsuits outside, Nene's systems knowledge inside and people willing to trust one another across the line between vigilante and police.

Green Hardsuit · Red Hardsuit · Two Different Kinds of Support Open →Linna's green hardsuit emphasizes speed, agility and cutting attacks, while Nene's red suit is built around the electronic side of a Knight Sabers operation. Linna creates openings in physical combat. Nene creates them in systems, communications and security.
Why it matters
Neither role is secondary. The team works because somebody can reach the target, somebody can survive the target and somebody can make sure the others know what they are walking into.
