Wearing emperor robes and possessing unique telepathic abilities, Chiaotzu can freeze enemies in their tracks, levitate, and telekinetically manipulate objects—though his bizarre weakness is failing basic mental math during combat. Following Tien's moral awakening, Chiaotzu abandons Master Shen's dark path to become an honorable martial artist and vital ally to Goku.
