Sakura's best friend discovers the Cardcaptor secret in Episode 2 and reacts in the most Tomoyo way possible: she decides magical heroics require custom costumes and proper video documentation. Wealthy, graceful and almost impossibly composed, Tomoyo supplies Sakura with outfits, communication equipment and calm emotional support while cheerfully following battles with a camera that probably should not be anywhere near them. Her devotion to Sakura is deep and selfless. Tomoyo rarely demands anything back; she seems happiest when Sakura is happy, even when Sakura's heart is pointed somewhere else entirely.
