After Charles is gone, Lelouch does not dismantle Britannia and retire. Turn 25 · The Parade
Lelouch stages his victory parade with political prisoners displayed beneath him, concentrating the world's anger into one public image. Suzaku appears as Zero and kills him in front of the crowd. Because the assassination is visible and symbolic, Zero instantly changes from the face of rebellion into the person who ended the Demon Emperor.
