LUCREZIA NOIN

Noin is an OZ officer, mobile suit instructor and one of the most consistently competent people in Gundam Wing. She first appears training pilots at Lake Victoria, where Wufei's attack demonstrates just how dangerous the Gundams are. Noin survives and eventually becomes far more closely tied to Zechs and the restored Sanc Kingdom than to OZ itself. Her loyalty to Zechs is obvious, but she is not merely following him around. Noin believes in the Peacecraft family, supports Relena's attempt at pacifism and continues fighting because the people she cares about keep ending up on battlefields. She pilots ordinary machines such as the Aries and Taurus in a series full of custom Gundams and prototype monsters, which quietly says a lot about her skill. Noin rarely needs the spotlight to prove she belongs there.
