The original champion of justice who fought crime in London and Tokyo as the legendary "Sailor V" before joining the team. Minako is a goofy, hyperactive pop-idol-obsessed teenager who shares a chaotic, single-brain-cell wavelength with Usagi. However, as the leader of the Princess's personal guard, she carries a solemn maturity, originally acting as a decoy princess to protect Usagi. She wields the golden light of love and metal chains of energy.

The finale tests whether Usagi's compassion exists only because her friends make her brave. She has to keep moving after the support system is gone.

Once the old history is fully remembered, the season stops treating it as distant mythology. The Guardians enter D-Point knowing exactly who they are protecting and why Beryl's war has returned.
