The sweet, brilliant, and deeply gentle genius of the group. Boasting an rumored IQ of 300, Ami is a studious perfectionist who dreams of becoming a doctor like her mother. As Sailor Mercury, she is the team’s tactical strategist, utilizing her pocket computer and Mercury Goggles to analyze enemy weaknesses while casting protective mists of water and ice to control the battlefield. She is the quiet, reliable heart of the Inner Senshi.

Jadeite escalates from energy harvesting to a direct attempt to eliminate Sailor Moon, Mercury and Mars at once. By this point the three Guardians can coordinate instead of surviving separately, and the trap fails.
The Breakdown
The important result is organizational. Jadeite does not simply lose another monster. He proves to Beryl that his entire approach has failed to stop the Guardians from multiplying, and the Dark Kingdom moves on without him.
